Pimped up Bulletproof

 

Looking for a kick start in the morning? One that sustains you longer than 20 minutes? Look no further! Get creative on the traditional bulletproof coffee. Perfect for morning fasts, training sessions or just for a morning kickstart.

Ingredients:

  • 30-60ml espresso (depends how strong you like it)

  • 1 tbsp Ghee

  • 1 tbsp MCT oil

  • 80 mL Boiling water

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • Pinch of cayenne pepper

  • 1 tsp Turmeric

Method:

Place all ingredients into a heat proof blended and wiz for 10 seconds or until smooth and frothy. Enjoy!

 

Bulletproof tips:

1. Try other add in's such as raw cacao, carob or maca powder

2. Sensitive to fats or have had your gallbladder removed? Start at 1/2-1 tsp of the Ghee and MCT, slowly increase to your tolerance.

3. Don't have MCT or ghee? Try Coconut oil and Grass fed butter.

4. Consume in the mornings to provide you with sustained energy, feeling of fullness and keep your mind sharp!

5. Great for those trying intermitted fasting or for morning gym sessions.

6. Perfect for ketogenic and paleo diets

 

Note: If you are new to bulletproof coffee, I recommend starting with a teaspoon of the ghee and MCT, gradually increase to a tablespoon over coming weeks.
